wine glass holder

I don't have any wine glasses but I do have those heavy glass beer steins. I have a plastic soda bottle rack (Pepsi) that used to hold 2 liter bottles. I had to trim a little off the plastic to allow for the handles (but wine glasses don't have handles), and it works great. I put a little pad of non-slip shelf liner in each circle that the glass sits on. It works great and I had a pile of the soda crates. They are also good to carry quart size canning jars.

Our solution is not under the cabinet, but in it. Michael's craft store carries 2" thick foam blocks and we cut one to fit the bottom of the cabinet. Then cut holes for each glass. We store stemmed glasses top down and no breakage in 3+ years of traveling. We have a couple of very tall stems that wouldn't stand up. so placed a foam block on the back wall with a cut out for the rim and they ride horizontally without a problem.

I used to belong to a wine club that sent the wine in styrofoam containers. I store the bottles in them and wine glasses. When we are parked, the glasses are used, washed and put back. Don't need a rack. Never had a partially used bottle of wine left kaykaydee

We picked up a set of metal wine glasses.... they look like brushed nickle. No chance of breaking, they keep the wine cool and look really neat. We've seen some really pricey ones in some high end boutiques (intended for homes), but WM carries smaller versions that look just as nice for a lot less. And they slide nicely into an under cabinet glass holder so they are out of the way, but easy to get to in a jiffy.
