$30,000 is 20% on a $150,000 purchase, so "up to $30,000" is still only what you could very likely get if you bargained hard on a typical Journey or Meridien motorhome. And I suspect the discount they are offering on an Adventurer, for example, will be quite a bit less tahn $20k.

Still, it is good to see them advertising discounts that you would have to fight for a couple months ago. And who knows what next month will bring?

I got 51K discount on my recent purchase. If I was offered 30K I would have laughed and walked.

I see these ads all the time for "big sales" and "once in a lifetime" discounts. You can bet the "Up to $30,000 off" will only apply to the most expensive coach on the lot (which just happens to have been sold already- gee, too bad) and the rest will have much lesser discounts.

Considering most competetive dealerships (such as LazyDays) will offer 25% off as a STARTING point in their negotiations, $30k off a high-end coach is not really that much. Most places I've dealt with will commonly knock $50k-$60k off a $220k coach. $30k off on such a rig (about 13-14%) would net them a "Have a nice day" from me and a view of my rear bumper as I drive off.

The great thing about forums like IRV2 is that regardless of the accuracy/inaccuracy or intent of a post, usually by 2 or 3 posts later, the real story will be apparent.
