Winter camping...

I was wondering what people have been doing for winter camping with their trailers and rv's.

My biggest thing was the water lines and was thinking I would just winterized them, and then just bring water for everything else the old fashion way like it used to do with my old tent trailer years ago. The toilet I would just have some jugs of water/plumbing antifreeze for when it has to be used.

Any thoughts??

I've heard of some doing exactly what you described but I can't speak to it personally.

i placed 100 watt severe duty light bulbs in all the basement compartments, guarded by wire cages. the bulbs are commonly used in garage extension lights.
i have a tankless water heater, and place a bulb in there also. anywhere there would be a danger of freezing.i used a total of six bulbs
ive been in below freezing weather in montana in january, and didnt freeze up.
there is no way to really stay warm in a motorhome in montana during winter. you survive, thats all. electric blankets are a real life saver.

Thanks for the tip. I'm not a huge fan of the idea but my son wants to go hunting and I have zero interest in sleeping in a tent anymore, especially in the winter. Didn't work as hard as I have or spend the money I did to lay on the hard ground. Lol
