Brushed the snow off the top! One week ago we were at 90 in Needles, CA. Now it is 11 here in Colorado.

Snowbirds, stay put for a while.
Darn winter just keeps hanging on in the MW. Forecast for another inch of snow in NE and up to 6 more in SD on top of the 24" they just had.

America's Mailbox in Box Elder, S.D. sent out a note to not expect a mail pick up until friday. That's hard core.

Yeah... We are at Beaver Lake Campground in Custer, and our camping neighbor went to Rapid City yesterday. The snow was so heavy later that evening, they stayed at a Hotel not to take a chance driving back to Custer.

He said it was worse in Rapid wind was howling and drifts were deep.

I feel your pain folks, though maybe not as much. Monday morning I opened the garage door to see about an inch or so, here in Reno, NV.

Custer and Rapid City were pretty nice last year when we went to Sturgis. It's hard to imagine such a beautiful area covered in snow. Snow to me is pretty, but beautiful..................ehhhhhh................ NOT..........................Being a sun lover and having given up skiing since hip surgery 3 years ago I don't need it.

We're here in Omaha to see grandkids playing in band concerts and soccer matches for the first time. Weather's terrible...yesterday severe thunderstorms with surface temps of 45 degrees. Tonight, and inch of snow. Good thing its grandkids and a first or we'd be headed back south!

No snow again this year. It is expected to get really cold tonight. Temperatures are predicted to plummet to the mid 50s tonight and only get into the high 70s tomorrow with possible thunderstorms Sunday and Monday. Probably going to be a little while yet before the pool water is warm enough for my old bones.
