Winterized Early

Normally I don't winterize here in the NC mountains until after Thanksgiving. Something told me to do it earlier this year so I put her to bed last weekend. Glad I did.....

23 degrees on my north side thermometer in southern Indiana.
So glad I winterized the RV this week.

I would expect it to be in the 20's in Michigan and Indiana but not here in the foothills of the Smokies. We are still in the midst of fall color!

Supposed to be an Arctic Polar Vortex move into the Midwest this week, sure glad I winterized the MH last week while it's at Camping World for black tank valve replacement. Normally it's above freezing in our RV garage, and doesn't get winterized unless we stay home during Dec, Jan, and Feb.

I heard the same thing too, Ray. Supposedly some storm in the Pacific is to shove the jet stream way north which'll make it take a dive into the midwest next week. There's also more talk on the weather stations that this winter is forecast to be as long/cold/snowy as last winter. *sigh*

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

We kept delaying winterizing, hoping to be able to go one more time. Weather man made our minds up.
