Winterizing
Will the pink anti freeze that splashes in the sinks stain the sinks, if you leave it in there?

I have never had it stain the sink (we have porcelain not plastic) or the fiberglass shower but it will stain the toilet seat if splashed and left on for a long time. I do wip off excess though but leave in toilet to keep seal wet.

It will stain the shower. It did our shower in our 5th wheel last year. This was not the first year in a RV. But last year was the first year for our Road Warrior. It did stain the shower tub.
But over the year it disappear.

It did the same as Hamm described to our MH shower/garden tub, and it made black spots in the finish on the brass-plated, hand-held shower head, which will not come off.
Most RV anti-freeze brands contains ethanol, some polypropylene glycol.

We have some minor stains on the shower stall floor. I suspect it was from antifreeze that didn't get wiped up..
I don't see any stains in the sinks.
Our Southwind is 20 years old, (we've only owned it for two years) and I'm not sure about the previous history.

We have had plastic in three rigs, and it's never stained any of ours. But I can see where different plastics and different brands of antifreeze, could produce different results.

As you can see it depends on the materials used in the fixtures but without knowing that bit of information the best you can do is wipe out the drips before they dry.
