Wishful thinking; a Modern interior

All the motor-home I've looked at has wood simulated interior, it's getting pretty old for me.

For my next motor-home; I would like to remodel to a more modern interior... for example; I like to see the interior more like the inside of an airplane, or star-trek. or a space ship (anybody see the movie AVATAR. is there anything like that available on the market?

many years ago, I attended a trade show; I step into a booth probably 10x20. Once inside, the room was in 3D. It makes me feel like I was dining in a very expensive restaurant on a hill top overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

wow... wouldn't that be the camping trip of the century ?.... keep on dreaming?

They will unfortunately look like grandma's parlour for a while yet.

Unless you have the cash for a custom job

Not Star Wars, but the new American Eagle has a contemporary look, especially if you choose the "Rich Caramel" interior decor.
American Eagle

Gulfstream made some very mod interiors back in the late 90's. A friend had one that was nearly all white inside, with white formica cabinets, white tile floors, chrome accents, all very sleek looking. He got a great deal on it cause few buyers were interested in that degree of "contemporary". Dealers don't order them that way for their sales lot because it limits their market too much, but buyers special order them and they eventually show up on the used scene.

Newels and Prevosts often have custom-tailored interiors in high style, whatever the owners taste may be.

We struggled with the interior style too..... Our home decor has a very mid century inspired style to it, so we are not homey / traditional / brass and dark interior style people (nor the "casino" look) and while many will say it is silly to base your decision on the interior style, the aesthetic is very important to us. It really took a significant impact on what we would consider living with.

Our venture actually started with " let's sell everything and get an Airstream" kind of more of a joke. Love many of the airstream interiors, just realized when we started taking this seriously, a TT would probably not work for us.

The new Winnebago Brave has a cool late 60s vibe, and is very light / bright inside. We have yet to see a 31, and thought the 2 smaller ones would be too small for us.

I'm not sure that the story is on the Monaco Vesta (I think it was only made for a few years), but it had a modernistic interior too.

While I would not say our Tiffin has the most modern feel to it, we custom ordered in part to get the lightest cabinet color, and the most pleasing to us interior color scheme including the off white upholstery. We are very pleased with it, given all other choices / considerations out there.

Regards!
