Crumbling and decrepit frenzied LA freeways, especially where they made a two lane highway into a three lane highway. And people who cut in front of you and stand on their brakes cuz they almost missed their offramp....

@Full.Monte..I agree..It IS like having another house, and with arthritis...all the working on it is getting old...sigh. Hopefully getting to actually camp in the thing will help. (Just got it in November of last year and all I've really done is work on it and have yet to really camp in it...sigh) Hopefully this coming weekend...if I can figure out where to go! Don't want to do an RV park, just boondock it. (Northern Idaho around Coeur d'Alene) Ideas?

So Cal, freeways are the worst. Damn near destroyed my 30' Mobile Traveler. I seen pot holes 4" deep and a foot and half wide. Gas prices is Ca. are crazy too, up to $5 a gallon in some places. At 7 miles a gallon I can't do it any more. I need a big raise on SS . Yah right. Maybe if I ask Obummer.

Spending 2 years doing the planning, selling the S & B house, trading up to a Holiday Rambler for trustworthy.
Having DW fall backwards out the door on the first trip---
End of FTing.

Dogs yelping, cat prints on my car and dog owners who don't carry doggy-do bags, kids and parents who have bad manners and don't respect others people privacy/stuff/enjoyment, ect.

We are not full timers. I would like to be, but the DW not so much.
The packing for a trip, then getting many miles from home only to remember what you forgot. And of course unpacking after you get home and the clean-up (washing etc.) of the motor home.
Then there is always some sort of repair or fix that needs to be done. But when you own a house on wheels and the roads are not so smooth, repairs are bound to be needed.

Repairs that have to go into the shop - finding an honest repair shop is difficult, plus it sometimes means a hotel, which means fighting the shop on how long the repairs will take.

The wind is the worst. Spring in the mountain states really blew me around the highway. It was the best part of the country to see but the DW will not allow me to drive back there because it was so stressful.
