I know they don't look it, but the Smart has 15" wheels -- the same as my Toyota Prius. I think most cars would high center on a rock that size. Yep, that driver gets a failing grade for that one, for sure. The car looks undamaged. Do you suppose this was a prank instead of a driving mishap?

Rusty,

There has been a bit of a stray from my original question, but I really am learning a lot about my future car. Now, I really can't wait to pick it up -- hopefully late next week. I'm just west of Albuquerque, NM and the car is in Plano, TX.

Why would you say that? 'Cause the front wheels flat and the rear is concave?

Thanks, Midniteoyl!

*Chevrolet is a Swiss name, actually.

I spent 4 weeks parked 200 feet from the Columbia river which divides WA from OR. HUGE transport ships marked Honda passed by daily on their way to the Portland port of entry. Of course, they could have been bringing Chevys up from Mexico. Cool to watch, tho, and they made gigantic wakes.
