Thumbs up Wow! This is what you call customer satisfaction

About 1 month ago I decided to convert my AE 20 foot awning to 12 volt.
I research the web and decided on Carefree Eclipse power arms. I ordered white and the next day, I discovered that my Newmar MH had satin awning rails. I called the RV part store where I purchased it. To late, they were already sent.
The saleman (Ron) who sold me the awning kit, told me that he would send me the satin finish awning arms and when the white arms get delivered, refuse them and they'll be sent back and that way there will be no postage charge. (Great customer service) Now the rest of the story. The correct satin arms were delivered the next day. While I was installing the power arms I noticed the left side end cap for the roller was cracked I emailed the saleman (Ron) and I also sent a picture of the cracked cap and about 3 emails later he told me that the part was attached to motor and was not available separately and was $200.00. Then he told me that he was sorry for all the problems and he was sending the cap and motor at no cost to me.
Now that's customer satisfaction. I know where all my future RV parts will coming from

Salespersons & companies like that are few & far between. Sounds like you found a good one.

I had that kind of customer service from AirLift on my air ride system when I had a question and also when I had a problem. Both taken care of quickly and professionally.
Also had the same wonderful customer service from Fantastic Fan before it was sold out to Atwood, after not so much, Atwood wants paid for everything.

Did you buy them direct from Carefree? When you say RV Parts Department I'm thinking you did not buy them direct from Carefree.

If you did not buy them from Carefree it would sure be nice to know who you bought them from.

It's just not that often you get to read about the really good things that happen to off set the bad.

Awesome care

I was waiting for someone to ask who the part house was. I ordered the Awning arms from PPL. While doing research for the replacement part, Ron the salesmen contacted Carefree and that's how he found out about the cap not being available without the motor. I don't know who made the final decision on sending the motor and cap assembly. But ,Thank You
