I've always used the bleach-water solution, but might change to Lysol now. Most of the weird things I have seen in CG's I try to forget......

It's apparent that he's using the gloves to keep his hands clean.

Just think of the number of time you go into a store of some sort and latch on to the handle of a push cart, pick up and look at something or even *gasp* open the door to that establishment. Where was that previous persons hand 5 minutes ago. Then, did the person that pushed the door open to that public bathroom before you wash their hands after doing their business (my pet peeve)? Yep, I usually wear a pair of Harbor Freight throwaway nitrile gloves while doing the sanitary hook up, but the rest - nah. And that slinky - that and all of the attachments goes in a big covered plastic tub instead of the rear bumper or plastic container under the 5er and that tub is then sanitized several times a season with a bleach and water mixture. Oh and my experience in RVing - began in 1970 with a porta-potti equipped p'up and to date have never been sick while on the road I believe that none of you would have wanted one of my 2 year job assignments - plant engineer of a garbage burning power plant in Maine. Stinky's just don't bother me much.

I don't know how many times I have seen people in Casino washrooms in a stall and you hear the rustling of paper and the flush, then see them exit the washroom without washing their hands. They are touching everything before you touch it. Yuck!!!

A couple weeks ago we were in a supermarket and I went into the washroom and seen an employee leave the washroom after not washing his hands. I went to customer service to complain and on the way I seen him putting out vegetables on a display shelve.
I guess it is all around us!

A liberal hand-washing with soap to the duration of the Happy Birthday song works just as well. We're still here...
Same here, I think gloves are a pain to use and I really don't get the poop stuff all over me in the first place. Do the job then go in and wash your hands, not much different than using a public restroom.

How are you gonna get in to wash your hands without touching the door handle, the water faucet, and the soap dispenser?

I keep a box of the Harbor Freight vinyl gloves outside. They're very inexpensive and I can just throw them in the trash before going inside.

Dumping is safer than eating at Chipotle or Chi Chis.

My wife brings out the soap and paper towels and I wash at the spigot. She turns the water on and off. I never touch anything until after the hands have been washed.

I keep a bottle of hand sanitizer in the storage bay which I use after hooking everything up. Then I drink a beer. Works for me every time!
