When I moved from Fl. to NC, my handle was FL. Gator. Now it is Wizard.

My original or starting handle was "Blue Eagle', then I changed it to "Transformer", and finally changed it to each present year such as " 1978 " and beyond.

I don't know what I'm using now since I just installed a CB in the MH last year after several years of absence from the CB world

My Dad was a professional truck driver and his handle was "King Fish" as that's what his truckin' buddies called him (last name Fisher) in the pre-CB days. As Daddy's little girl, I was known as "Little Minnow."

I started off as Rotorhead, that stuck for a few years - it came from when an OTR driver buddy of mine came to an airshow where we had parked a helicopter and heard a jet jock call us that.

Then it changed to Merlin because the Squadron callsign that I belonged to was MERLIN (then plus last 2 numbers of the aircraft serial number), that got started by a fellow scout leader.

Didn't transfer the CB to this truck because most of the people I used to talk to have switched to VHF radio sets in thier trucks. I still have the unit, just stuffed in a drawer in the toolbox, antenna leaning in a corner.

I think about mounting it once in awhile, but never put much effort into it as I seem to get side tracked.

I ran a CB as Tumbleweed for a few years and then went to Texas Iceman. So I just carried the TXiceman over to the RV forums.

Was and still is -Barracuda - Started with a pearce simpson tiger 40 and still run that rig in the Motor home today. My turner m+3 has long since died (blue one) In fact I still run the same francis whip. Old equipment but clear and strong.
That was back in high school. I then bought a royce ssb to go with a starduster so I could talk with a bunch of people around my area. Good group and lots of fun.

We had our call letters and, of course, we were always good and would only run 4 watts
I'll be 10-8

Same CB name in the 70's that i use here. Truckers picked up on it fairly fast. Care to guess what my job was then?
