When you love a rainy day so you can go and lay in the bed and listen to the rain on the roof

When you start considering an overnight stay for an hour long trip from home.

X2 - IMO a fiberglass roof is much better for the sound of rain than a rubber roof.

Or maybe when you go to camp 10 minutes from your home, just to 'get away.' No actually our relative wanted a short overnighter to try things out before a big road trip. and we went !

Our favorite local campground on the lake is about 10 minutes away from home. It's great to be able to run home, but still feels like 1k miles "away from it all".

Love this thread. My son lives 350 miles away. It always a 2 day trip. I thought it was mandatory to stay overnight, when ever the rig is on the road.

Excellent! I'd like to have that as a bumper sticker on my MH;

"Because living in one place for two weeks is too long"

It's when your dog won't leave the rig when you pull up at home. My late German shepherd actually stared me down and refused to leave the rig.
