SHADE. But then we live in Texas.

Strangely, I prefer gravel pads over concrete.

Space long enough and wide enough for the rig!
A little shade
Gravel or concrete pad
People picking up after their dogs
People not cutting through my site.

Wal*Mart qualifies on a few of them.

Wide enough drives to allow maneuvering into site without dragging shrubs down the side of the coach or limbs on the roof.

Well maintained hookups and Level site.

Acceptable cellphone coverage.

No railroad track behind site blowing whistles all night long, or repetitive highway noise with jake brakes hammering the air....

Clean... You can have the nicest Campground/Resort in the world--- if I see litter and cigarette butts everywhere, I won't come back.

Those are the mins...of course there are a lot of --- I'd really like to haves to add to that list.

No low branches.

Good/maintained hook ups.

Decent cell coverage.

Wide turns/entrances to site.

Agree with people not cutting thru sites, but don't think that's a campground thing....it's a people thing. My dogs don't like to be surprised, and when people cut thru where their tie out reaches....I don't think they'll bite, but they sure do act like they are going to.

1) Space - a lot of space between sites. A few hindered ft is ok, 1/2 mile is better.

2) Level site

3) Quiet - Away from roads and highways, No loud radios, TVs, kids, pets, or adults, No generators, diesels, car alarms, etc.

4) Dark - dark or very subdued lighting. No streetlights no bright lights.

5) Clean restrooms and showers. (if we're in a park or campground)

HUM - This sounds like my driveway (I live out in the sticks)

1. Level Sites with enough space for a sensible layout of the fire pit & picnic tables and I don't want to see my neighbors sewer hoses.

2. Dark at night.

3. Clean of trash including the areas outside of the site, grass mowed, weeds trimmed and dead branches policed.

4. Maintained (full) hookups.

5. A shower house that is spotlessly clean, esthetically pleasing, private, with enough clean water and high water pressure to exfoliate my soul.
