My wife and I just spent 2 days at Mill Bridge. While there my parents joined us for a meeting with Brian (the owner) and Dottie (the manager). We made great strides toward setting many details. I am getting preliminary numbers on the tours and the catered events. Should have some definite details very soon. Here is a preliminary Rally Schedule:

iRV2.com National Rally - June 19 25, 2005

Preliminary Schedule

Wed., June 15 Advance Team arrives

Sat., June 18 Early arrivals

Sun., June 19 Check-in all day, Amish Film & Mill Bridge Village tours (all day), Ice Cream Social (7 PM)

Mon., June 20 Free day, Seminars, BOFs (Birds of a Feather topic discussion), Welcome PA Dutch Dinner (5 PM), Amish comedian (after dinner)

Tue., June 21 Philadelphia Tour, Seminars, BOFs

Wed. June 22 Amish Country Tour, Seminars, BOFs, Raffle/Door Prizes (6:30 PM), Campfire (8 PM)

Thu., June 23 Gettysburg Tour, Seminars, BOFs, Golf Outing

Fri., June 24 Catered Breakfast, Annual Meeting, Oktoberfest in June (7 PM) (Boomba band (Liederkranz) or DJ (Captain Kent)

Sat., June 25 Depart

Sun., June 26 Late departures

Miscellaneous
Fishing contest (Mon. thru Thu.), winner announced at breakfast on Fri.

This schedule is very preliminary and will probably change. But...it is looking good so far! The campground is being very helpful in making many of the arrangements for us.

We stay at Mill Bridge a couple times a year and love it! (My kid caught his very first fish off the bridge in the campground). Haven't been to a National Rally yet. Do families with kids come or are there mostly adults? We have 2 kids (15 and 7) and probably would be bored if it's all mostly adult stuff. Thanks for the info.

Don says I ought to go to this rally. Let's see, 1425 miles to Lancaster, PA. from McKinney, TX. I'll have check my schedule too. We'll see.

Rich & Kay -

Bring the kids! We definetly plan our rallies with kids in mind. There is usually a number of kid activities scheduled during the week. My kids 10 & 11 always have a blast at these rallies.

P.S. We would also appreciate a site with full hookups that will hold a 40 foot rig- didn't notice that option on the form and 60 of the 100 sites have full hookups, according to Woodall's. Looks like a beautiful campground and the preliminary agenda is terrific!

Let us know what we can do to help, please!

The campground will provide "honeydipper" service for all non-sewer sites, free-of-charge. Every site has water and electricity. We'll have a daily "pump-out" sign-up sheet for those who need to have their tanks emptied.

I'd like to to add to Rick's post of activities for the rally. For all you "bikers" and those who have any kind of interest in bikes..... The Harley-Davidson Assembly plant is in York. About a 1/2 hour ride from the campground. They have tours every weekeday. Last tour is around 1:00 or 2:00 pm daily.

There are usually LOTs of "Kids" there.

Some are just younger or smaller than others.

Cathy tells folks I am just the BIGGEST kid in OUR family.

No sign-up list yet. We'll work on it. As of earlier today there were 18 already preregistered with their deposit paid.
