Frankie, I wouldn't buy that many. If you cut the chicken up I'd maybe go with 5-8. Let's wait till closer to the time, and I will let everyone know how many people are coming via this thread.

I will make German Pork Roast.

As a general guideline, if everyone makes enough of their dish to feed their family +2 there will be more than enough food. This formula works for every covered dish we have attended.

Sign us up for ham with potatoes and green beans. I'm not sure of the "german" way to cook these, but mine will still be good!

Diane, you have to bring the vinegar to slosh on top That is the "german" way to eat that dish. Also you have to have buttered/grape jelly bread to eat with this item Now I don't mean for you to bring all that. You just asked the way we eat them.

Is that hot pepper vinegar that we(in the south) eat on our collards and turnip greens or plain ole vinegar? I think I can handle the vinegar also, but forgive me if I don't try it,especially with buttered grape jelly bread!

Dianne, it is plain old vinegar, the brown stuff not the clear. We sprinkle a little on the plate. It is really good. Why not try the jelly bread? Now I can't wait for the rally. I'm getting hungry just posting the food
