We've added a Guided Trout Fishing Tour to Thursday's events at the urging of Flytyer.
He will "head up" this event and will be posting the details soon.
There is the opportunity to take either a half-day or whole day trip, fishing the White River by either wading or floating in a boat.
Watch the National Rally forum for a "trip specific" discussion soon.

Bob,
Sounds like a great place to have next year's rally - if all goes right Brenda and I will be full-time by then. Don't know how I can smoke up salmon to bring - have to find a small smoker. Make sure Workhorse brings the donuts -we know how you are with donuts. Looks like everyone enjoying the event this year. We are chilling this month - just laying around the pool and starting to the clean house and pack things away - couple trips in August and booked pretyy solid in September. Guess we will be traveling all the way up to Christmas this year. Might need a place to stop in September heading to Hilton Head, let us know if you are going to be in town - buy you a donut.

Well this is a problem. The last rally we attended with you guys we ended up bringing a new motorhome home with us. These rally's can be really expensive. And they made us Texan which was ok with our kids since they are.

That being said I WANT TO COME TOO. I can hardly wait.

Branson has been on my "list of things to do before I die" for a long time! I'm so excited about the 07 National Rally being there...not only because it's on my list, but another chance to meet up with old friends and meet new ones!

Glad to see so much passion in the works for the '07 Rally...If I ever get home from the '06 Rally I will continue making the arrangements for some TREMENDOUS venues....

I'm "roughing it" in a hotel in downtown Knoxville on someone else's nickel,so it ain't but so bad.

I look forward to making my rounds to ALL the regions this coming year and then renewing those friendships in Branson...

Been to Branson twice and loved it, especially Silver Dollar City in the fall. We will have to see if anyone can still afford diesel fuel next summer. May have to cash in a few CD's to fill up the beast.

I can not wait to sign up. We have always wanted to go to Branson. We were trying to go this September but plans changed. This sounds like it will be a blast.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE

Due to some changes in policy beyond our control there were some issues with having the 2007 Rally at Compton Ridge.

For this reason I have done some research and gotten together with the Rally Coordinator at ABC Campground in Branson and they are fine with the issues we ran into at Compton Ridge.

In addition, each campsite at ABC has FREE WiFi, FREE satellite TV and 50 Amp service....

I apologize for this change, but I truly believe we will now enjoy several things such as the potlucks we had such fun with in the past.

Thank you,

Bob Gregory

Ah, now you have my interest, with this campground!
Are there different rates for those who get a cabin instead of a campsite?

Doris, here's a picture of one of the cabins...I have placed a call in for the Rally Coordinator at ABC and will inquire as to the specific rally discounted cost for a cabin...
Slipped my mind on the "to do" list and I apologize for it...
Thanks for bringing to my attention and I will post an answer here shortly...

Doris, the campground usually has three sizes of cabins, however the only ones they have left are the ones without running water or kitchenettes, which means a trip to the bath house. There is a water spigot on the outside, but that's all the water...They sleep two adults and have a loft area where you could put an air mattress or two for a couple of kids.

We would be able to do those for the same price as a campsite...

They do only have 6 of those and although all 6 are currently available, our contact at the campground advises NOT to wait too long as the delux cabins have already gone!!

Doris, it is hard to believe the larger cabins were already sold out,but there is apparently a family reunion being held in the campground for the first several days of our Rally and they apparently grabbed the larger cabins...Will you folks still be coming to the Rally with your RV?
