Got mine yesterday. Adella and I really enjoyed reliving the rally through the great pictures. Thanks again for your hard work. Hope we can all get together again.

DVD is a great finish to wrap up a great week in Central Ohio. Again Joan and I want to thank all for their efforts. See you down the road!

Received the picture DVD last week. Can't play it in this desktop, CD player only. DVD player with television gives error msg. Laptop plays it just fine, of course that is the 2nd DVD drive since May. Anyway we like the DVD, it's a nice record of the rally, thanks.

We received our photo DVDs on Thursday but didn't get to look at any of them until Friday night. Great job, Dave (and Lori).

The picture taken of our TT was so nice that it became the background (wallpaper) on our desktop.

I didn't see any pictures of when the picnic table nearly overturned on us, though. They would have been priceless.

Thanks again!

Ray (& others that might've had issues viewing the DVD),

The Rally DVD we sent is a DVD data disc containing files. It is not a DVD video disc that you can play in most DVD players. Most computers know how to read these discs, but your TV DVD player most likely does not. Previous rallies sent out CD data discs (different from CD audio discs), but we needed about 3x the amount of space a CD would hold for all the photos submitted, thus we used the DVD media this time.

There are numerous programs (Roxio, Windows DVD Maker, & others, some of which can be downloaded for free) that can take your pictures & turn them into a slideshow with music & then be written to a DVD video disc which can be played on most DVD players & watched on your TV.

I hope this helps explain why ya had trouble viewing the disc on some of your components. At least you were able to view it on your laptop.

Dave and Lori we received our dvd today and watched most of it. like others said it brought back fond memories of our first rally. We appreciate the dvd to keep and look at during the times we can't get to a rally. thanks again for the time and energy you must have used to get this out to the ralliers.

I'm so glad you all (or for our TX Boomer friends "ya'll") are enjoying the DVD's. Dave & I really appreciate all the feedback you've given. It was a pleasure putting it together for you.

Just curious, have any of you put one of your attendee photos from the DVD on your Profile Picture under the UserCP section? I thought of that as we were going around taking the photos. We tried to get enough shots so there'd be at least one that you'd like enough to post there.
