Sittin here in the coolness of Yellowstone, I've been a calculating that same thing. By my best estimate, since I left my slide rule home its only an estimate, it would take at least each Texas Boomer bringing a couple sacks full of some good ole east Texas red clay. If'n we didn't fill that ditch up, we'd sure change the color of that Colorado river thats been eatin away that hole for millions of years.

PS. When I say sacks...everbody knows how much "stuff" we Texans can put in a sack.

Jim, it is not usually dirt we put in the sacks....

You should be here, I got the smoker going with a brisket, and will be adding chicken and sausage later. Then start a freezer of fresh peach ice cream...gona' eat good today....

Jim and Kathi, glad to have you here on iRV2.com. Noticed you are from SW of Houston. The Texas Boomers have a pretty active group of folks in the area. The next campout is at Lake Livingston from Jul 31 to August 2. Check out the Rally Calendar (accessed from the tool bar near the top).

Hope to see y'all soon.

Ken

Jim and Kathi, welcome to the iRV2 forum and as Ken suggested please check out the Texas Boomers. Don't let all the talk of pink chickens, chicken legs and duct tape bother you...we're just a fun loving group of rver's.

Mike, are you and Amber still giving away a toaster oven to new campout attendee's?

Jim, I think we still have a few rolls of Duct tape to give away to new members first still left.

Ken,

You may have picked up the incorrect Carolyn. Carolyn Chennault is the one who posted yesterday, but didn't see her name appear on the list of attendees.

Thanks,
Jodi

Ken.

Please add us to the list, we would love to meet some of you folks! Please also include our bird Oscar.

By then we have this crossing the border with Oscar figured out.

Thanks,

Sorry I am late responding but I just saw this post. This sounds like an event I can't miss - the 2008 rally was great! Please add me to the list.
