With our diminished numbers,we are trying to get a few things nailed down but need some tentative Numbers of attendees. So I need to get an idea of how many would like to make a day trip to Laughlin, Mon or Wed, A golf outing, or may be bringing their motorcycle or renting a Harley down the street?

No golf and no scooter rides for us.
At $75.00 per person for the Sky Walk...what are they trying to do, pay for it in the first month?

Laughlin looks like almost a 300 mile round trip from Williams. Instead, I think we'll relax at the CG or see some local sights. No thanks on the golf.

I was there three years ago (South Rim) and will give my recommendations.
Walk around with a water bottle in your hand, try to drink 6-8 bottles a day. The humidity is low low low and you will dehydrate quickly because you don't realize how much fluid you are losing. Even though it may not be hot you are still dehydrating. Even when I snow skied I drank lots of water. BTW, alcohol is also dehydrating so don't think because you're drinking beer your hydrating...not.
Sun glasses, hat and sunscreen is also a must. Comfortable walking shoes. The buses will get you close but if you want to see the Grand Canyon you will have to do some walking from the parking lots (bus drop off locations) to the observation areas.
Best part with the exercise though is you'll work up an appetite for all those meals Jim has scheduled for y'all. Don't forget, drink lots and lots of water.

Sky walk -
Mule trail ride - absolutely
Bus trip to Laughlin - I'm planning to hang out in the park with Half Dimes and Diane & Tom under some shade and introduce them to "texas tea"
Motorcycle ride - Rusty wanted to know if he could ride a bike down the mule trail.... We'll let you know a bit later after we find out what's going on with his hip. If there's a rental place in town, you know if he's able, he'll rent on and ya'll go for a ride!!!!

As Jim said there are some musts to pack, a hat, sun glasses, camera. binoculars, back pack (to carry theses thing and the stuff you will buy) and sun tan lotion is a very must. we will have water for everyone at the park so we will be OK there. I will be making sure you all carry a few bottles. I believe I mentioned the park will have some sack lunches if anyone wants one you will sign up for the days you want one at the park.
The gold wing and quad will be in the camper if any of you will like a few rides, I will line some up and we can decide what we want to do.
I am trying to get a bus in from Laughlin so thats why I need numbers for interest I will plan it for Wed. it will be a day long thing not sure of exact times untill we get the bus.

Y'all need to do the Laughlin trip. Its a neat city right on the river and has several casinos for gaming if that's of interest. There are some great restaurants in the casinos that of course are reasonabily priced. Don't forget those infamous all you can eat buffets either.

Kablewizard:
Sorry that we are late responding to your request about Laughlin. No golf and no scooter ride for us. Think that we will just relax and take in some other sights. Thanks anyway.
