Dates for Rally

What a shame that the Rally is the same dates at the Escapade in Missouri. Sure wish all of you planning rallies would get together and time them so we could attend more of them.

mgalex, We're sorry that you can't come to the National. There are many factors that have to be worked into the equation beyond the committee's control namely is the facility available at exactly the time that we want it? In this case, the dates that were booked corresponded with the availability of the facility and it worked well for planning purposes for the rally committee.

There will always be rallies occurring, FMCA, Good Sam, WIT, Gulfstream, and so many other organizations that it is impossible short of a having a crystal ball as to how to date a rally for the following year so that it doesn't conflict with another rally.

We'll see at the 13th National Rally.

The Tennesee Monaco Owners ( I hope I remembered that right) are trying to add our rally as a event to go to after thier state rally. So as DriVer said it works for some groups and might not work for others... I think you'd have more fun at ours..
Just sayin' ..... D

I know it can't be easy. It would be great if there was a central site that everyone hosting a rally could post their dates which might help. Have a great rally...maybe next year. Please keep us posted. [moderator edit]

Seems like in previous years by now there was a banner ad at the top of the iRV2 forum promoting the national rally with a link to information and the payment pages. With only 30 commitments at this point, seems like the word isn't getting out like it should. The rally is at a great park, super location, and pretty time of the year.

Thanks for pointing that out! We sure do want to get as many people to come as possible. If we book out all 100 sites, there is overflow!

I think that there are more than 30...I sent a PM to Dixieray on the 23rd and my name has not been added and there may be more waiting to be added to the list.
