No wagonmaster folunteered to take the job so I think nothing is set up and there will be no charge except your camping. We'll still have a good time meeting new friends and BS'ing about camping trips. I am looking foward to meeting old friends and all the new ones we meet at this years rally. From what I have heard there is a lot to do and see in this area. See you all there. Jim

I think the Amana RV park is the Wagon master. They're probably waiting for someone from here to provide some information needed before they can provide information to us.

Hey, I received a PM response in regard to the 2013 rally. It said;

So no worries, lets all go to show our commitment to the iRV2 family and enjoy ourselves.

We have been to several national rallies with irv2. When the site for this year was announced, we were excited. But with so few details and information, we have decided not to make the long drive up there from Texas. Hopefully next year will be better organized so that we can make long range plans and not have to wait until last minute to get details.

Sorry you won't be joining us, Ron.

We tried a new way of coordinating the Nat'l this year & it just didn't work out. ( I know, if it ain't broke, don't fix it...right?). Lesson learned.

There will be a schedule up soon & a final date for payment posted. Food, some entertainment, time to explore on your own, evening campfire, etc....similar to past rallies. Lots to see & do at AC so I don't think attendees will be bored.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Maybe we should try to convince the Texas Boomers to host the 2014 rally. They seem to have quite a few rallies through out the year and fun seems to happen. Maybe sending them a new pink chicken as a bribe and they will help in 2014.

If there's enough musical folks maybe we could organise a slow jam - could be good fun

Janet H.: Do you play? What? Does a pair of players qualify as a slow jam? We haven't heard from any others yet.

We can be a pair of onlookers. We will clap at anything.

Oh, good! Janet will know what she's doing and I will bumble along in my usual lame style! With any luck, I will make some decent music, learn something, not embarrass myself too badly, and have a great time.

Janet, please, what do you play? Or is it easier to say what you don't play?
