Heading to National Rally

The wife and I will be all ending the National Rally, site I-60. We live in Inverness, Florida and are really looking forward to this rally. My only question, is it necessary to bring toad ?

You should be able to hitch a ride with other iRV2 members if there's space available however if you have not been here, a toad can be helpful.

Just so you know, there are enough resources on the campground so that you really don't need to leave to buy stuff.

Hi! This place is so big but a golf cart is the prefered mode of transportation. You can rent or bring your own. I checked with them, they have 900 carts and rent for about $40/day.

Please know that with your iRV2 ID that all rally attendees will be eligible for a 50% discount over the standard rates for mid-September. Having a golf cart at Ocean Lakes is what you want to get. The carts are typically new and they run very well.

If you are bringing your own, it must be electric, insured and registered at the camp office. Not sure if there are fees but I expect there will be something.

Golf Cart Rental

Are we able to reserve a golf cart ahead of our arrival to the rally or do we have to wait until we get there? Anyone know?

2014 National Rally Attendee List

There are hundreds of Golf Carts. No worries about getting one however you won't be able to get a Cart at discount rates until you present your rally ID.

As far as I know, OLFCG doesn't take reservations for carts since you have to present a license at the time of pickup.

If you are arriving early, I might be able to leave a list of names with the Golf Cart office by Friday. They might extend the rate to early arrivals or late departures but we'll cross that bridge by the time we get going.

Thank you so much for the reply regarding the golf cart rental. Sounds like there will be plenty and what a fun time we are all going to have! ~Carolyn, Naples, FL

I assume bicycles are also a good method of getting around for those of us that have them (i.e. instead of a golf cart)?

Just Registered

We are "newbies" to the world of RVing, so attending this should be fun. We are confirmed on I 43 and registered with IRV2.
