It is a shame because we have had 1 cancellation as of today because the member felt excluded from being with the group.

All of the activities are going to be held in the recreation center and 50% off golf carts makes it easy to get around the campground. You can expect to pay about $100.00 plus tax for the week that you're here. That's really cheap by the way.

We travel with ATVs in our toy hauler can we use them to get around with instead of renting a golf cart.

I sure don't want to be a kill joy here but if they are gasoline powered you can't use them. Regrets.

Where are the details of the plans for the rally? And one place says we have to pay 1/2 of the camping fee in advance and that it is $150 or so. But here it says it would cost about $100 for the week. Could I have some clarification.

I believe you'll find that the statement: "one place says we have to pay 1/2 of the camping fee in advance and that it is $150 or so." applies to the campground site fees.

The statement: "it would cost about $100 for the week." applies to the campground golf cart rental fee. (after the 50% discount is given to iRV2 national rally attendees)

After I started reading back through the thread, I realized the one price quote was for the golf cart but still haven't found the details of the rally.

Please check out the wealth of information contained in the 'Sticky' threads at the top of this forum, iRV2.com National Rally.

I'd recommend beginning with Post # 1 of this thread.

Oh boy...I am pretty much brand new to irv2, and have only a few posts, can I still get in on this? My Rig is almost 41 ft (40ft 9") to be exact. I would at least like to be near someone from the group and meet as many new friends as possible. I don't have any problem renting a golf cart to get around. I am not even sure my wife (Dar) can come, she is up North right now in Ohio caring for my daughter who has blood clots in her lungs and helping our little 4yr old grand babe. But could I register as a solo and then add her if she makes it back? Sorry for so many late questions. I love Myrtle Beach, been a quite a few years since I have been there.

D-Pusher.. Ted and Dar, Call the campground and book a reservation for a campsite identifying yourself as an iRV2 member.

Ocean Lakes Reservations: 877-510-1413. At the time of your call, let the reservation clerk know the following information:
  1. You are with the iRV2 Rally.
  2. They should then ask you for your • "Screen Name" (**)
  3. Have the rally dates available. (9/14 to 9/20/14)
  4. Know the size of your rig.
NEXT ... using the register On-Line software read Post #1 for the Help File and then register using Post #2..

You can choose a single person option. $90.00.
Check out the Medieval Times single as well.

Click on below link to begin AFTER you have called Ocean Lakes Reservations.

2014 National Rally Fees via RegOnLine

We've paid in full and received the "express check in" package from the park. It had a "park pass" for the toad but nothing for the MH. How will the gate guard know we are paid guests upon initial entry?

The way that it's done is to have the car go in first and show the pass OR show the pass from the motorhome if towing the car. The security folks are very accommodating and they'll wave you right through. Parking passes for the motorhome are no longer issued.
