golf cart rental
I have spoken to the rental office and have been informed that there is NO discount in place for Irv2 rally? Called today to verify info posted here earlier only to find out this info. Did I miss something or did the rental personnel?

Mike posted a message and an apology about this a few days ago. Apparently, the discount only applies during Ocean Lakes' normal 'rally' season which doesn't start until later in the month (late summer crowds still here). So, no discounts on golf car rental will be offered.

FYI, folks. Ocean Lakes is not honoring the discount price on golf cart rentals for rally attendees. The full price is a lot of money -$39/day. We are disappointed. We aren't towing, so no car, either. Darn it.

yes this was an unwelcome surprise, OL may well have lost more in more rental fees than they gained, I did rent a cart for five days as had promised DW a cart and did not bring a scoot, the rental fee for five days was right around 175.00, so go figure...still season???, OK for some I guess it is Xmas season.
Still having a fun time, meeting a lot of great members, enjoying the Rally libations and a number of the seminars.
