KRose,
"In order to reserve a campsite, we are asking that you please book directly with the campground. --> Over the Phone <-- Call 877-510-1413. At the time of your call, let the reservation clerk know the following information: - You are with the iRV2 Rally,
- Have the rally dates available. (9/14 to 9/20/14)
- Know the size of your rig.
Early arrivals or late departures can be negotiated with the CG however unless you book "Early" you may be required to move from 1 site to another "because" the rally sites may not be available due preceding rallies or bookings."
The sites will be shown as "unavailable" if you are trying to book them electronically "on-line" because we have already reserved 200 of them.

My deposit has been made as well. Going in a day early but have to move for a day later leaving as the site was already reserved.
I block pads are 38' so if you want a specific space up on the water you better book now. The bigger sites in H had the one in the front row I wanted already gone.

I'm glad that you mentioned it!
We will have a number of rigs in Charleston, perhaps as many as 20 or more, I've lost count actually These folks however are the core group of the Carolina and Coastal Campers. It will be my pleasure to speak to you all and enlist your help for the many jobs that need to be filled for the 2014 National Rally. From day -1, volunteers are going to be needed to do all kinds of jobs. If we can spread all those jobs out with a few people helping in each of those tasks, the entire event will run like a clock. I am looking toward getting a lot of things down in writing so we can move from planning to execution.
It is my expectation that the 2014 will be the biggest and hopefully one of the very best rallies that we have had at iRV2. I can't say with any degree of confidence that the 2014 will be the best since all of our rallies have been unique and each has done well on its own merit however it's not going to be from the lack of trying. If the 2014 turns out as successful as the previous rallies than we will have done well and we can confidently pass the torch on to the 2015 iNR.

Question,
What's the likelihood there will be spaces available after the first of the year? I cant possibly book until at least January.
Thank you in advance

PT Jeep, Please make your campground reservations at any time up until August 14, 2014. We are developing an online resource where we can separately bill the rally fee and optional events such as shows and tours.
Although it would be helpful to have booked the majority of attendees by June 14, (90 days out) we will continue to accept reservations all the way up to 8/14/14.
Booking as early as possible is a big help toward planning for meals, infrastructure needs, shows and tours but more importantly so the attendees can plan as well.
Some folks that want to attend the National are not able to book vacations until after the 1st of the year.
Take your time, there's no rush at this time however the best beach front sites will most likely go pretty quickly but you will always be within a short distance from the beach.
Rally attendees can also expect a 50% discount on golf cart rentals so even if your were way in the back if the campground, a golf cart closes all those distances up nicely.

We just booked our reservation for 2014 rally. Looking forward to Myrtle Beach. Did not fit in a front row section but have a nice site in HH anyway.

DriVer -- I asked Lori about an idea I had & she suggested I get in touch w/ you. Here goes:
I would be willing to teach a craft class if there is space in the schedule and perhaps others would too. PM me if you're interested.
Also, we organized an informal bring/buy/swap event which went very well. Born out of a conversation about all the unneeded items we all carry around, some folks said that if they had known this was going to happen, they would have brought more of their excess stuff along especially for it. Such an opportunity might be welcomed in MB, as well.
Sounds like we're up & running well toward 2014. Looking forward to it!
Cheers!
Sue

Just as an estimate, I believe that you're number #11.
Q: Did the reservation clerk ask you for your screen name ? We're trying to make sure that our members are getting the beach front premium sites rather than having someone claim they are from iRV2 and grab one of our sites and not participate in the rally.
If they didn't can you please call the reservation clerk back with your reservation number and ask them to make a note of your screen name on your registration.

Hey guys!
"It's never done until the paperwork is over."
If you folks that have already registered and or you folks that will register soon, can you please send me a PM (private message) with your site number?
I have a master list and we'll pen you in on the roster. - Click on My Screen Name ... Left side column (DriVer)
- Click on "Send a Private Message" OR eMail to DriVer.
We also have a Rally Calendar Entry Page here ...
Please make an entry and let us know if you're coming!
Thank You!
