2014 National Rally - September 14 - 20, 2014 - Myrtle Beach

! Announcing !
the
The 2014 iRV2.com National Rally
Ocean Lakes Family Campground
September 14 - 20, 2014
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The 2014 iRV2 National Rally will be held at the Ocean Lakes Family Campground in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The campground has almost a mile of beachfront and is approximately 3 miles south of the Myrtle Beach city limits at the intersection of Hwy. 17 Business and Hwy. 544 (also known as Dick Pond Road). The physical address (GPS) is, 6001 South Kings Highway • Myrtle Beach, SC 29575.

The dates are: Sunday, September 14 - 20, 2014, 6 nights, departing on Saturday morning the 20th. 200 sites have been reserved.

The rally events and details will follow in a new thread. Expect; meals, games, vendors, entertainment, seminars and tours.

A comprehensive rally fee has not been set as of today however we are working on fine tuning the details.

In order to reserve a campsite, we are asking that you please book directly with the campground.
--> Over the Phone <--

Call 877-510-1413. At the time of your call, let the reservation clerk know the following information:
  1. You are with the iRV2 Rally.
  2. They should then ask you for your • "Screen Name" (**)
  3. Have the rally dates available. (9/14 to 9/20/14)
  4. Know the size of your rig.
(**) I expect that everyone will know what their "Screen Name" is. If you are not a registered member, you will not have generated a screen name. This information will later help us develop name tags which will be required at all activities. This become more important for meals, etc.

I just finished making a Calendar Entry Page here ...

Please make an entry and let us know if you have registered.

If you have registered past mid-October 2013 and if it's not too much trouble please send George (gMw) a "Private Message" with your site number. George is handling all of the registrations.

2014 National Rally Attendee List

Early arrivals or late departures can be negotiated with the CG however unless you book "Early" you may be required to move from 1 site to another "because" the rally sites may not be available due to preceding rallies or bookings.

A 50% deposit will be required and it is expected that the campground will ask for approximately $157.92**. {**Previously booked at this rate} If you have only made a deposit; on arrival you will pull to the right under the portico and proceed to the registration office to pay the balance of your campground fees. At that time you will receive your parking passes and campground map.

If you pay in full; you may ask for an Express Check-In package which can be sent directly to your house. (See the website's details for more information.) In the Express Check-In package, you will have received a Parking Pass and a Campground Map. On arrival, pull all the way to the left, show the parking pass to the gate guard, they will wave you through and you may drive directly to your site.

Golf Carts will be available during the rally at 50% off the regular rate. You will need your name tag showing that you are with the rally to get the discount.

Thank you, Mike for making this happen. Your advance preparation and notice will help folks make their plans.

Just made our reservations a few minutes ago. Deposit was $157.92 which, as you mentioned, is slightly higher than the 2013 rates.

Looking forward to another great time in MB!

2014 National Rally Calendar Event

We are shown as having made our reservation!

Yes you are correct about early notification. I am hoping that the timing of this announcement will allow people the flexibility to plan their vacation with us in 2014.

We made our reservation about 90 minutes ago and the clerk was right on it and we had "no problems" making a reservation using the rally name, date and length of rig. We will have to move since we're arriving early however we're good on the +1 day late stay.

If Myrtle Beach is as good as Amana Colonies was, I'm looking forward to a great time. Add that beach and it could be "mahvelus"!
