Hey Mike,

That venue sounds interesting. Rumor has it that you might be in the show as either Friar Tuck or Maid Marianne. What say you, any truth to that rumor.
I bet MikeT would even come to see that.

According to latest reports ...... over 85% of all of our allocated sites in the HH Section have been booked by members.

We still have a lot of sites left and we're looking forward to selling out the rally!

Please call Ocean Lake reservations, tell them you are with the iRV2 Rally, offer to give them your screen name and they will book you in. The cost to book is 50% of the total amount due.

If you ask for the age 65 discount, I believe they will offer a $1 per night savings. The regular rally discount was $2 a night but that was not available to us since we could only get a September time slot. You can have the discount applied when you go to the reservation desk to pay your balance OR if you are an Express Check-In tell them when you book that you would like to get the discount.

Attention National Rally Attendees!

Here's an interesting perspective on how we are parked. Both gMw and I worked on developing this view so that you can get an idea of our "floorplan" if you will. The document is in PDF. Please have one of the latest versions installed on your computer. I think that it should load just fine on Android tablets and iPads.

X = Site previously booked; (Not available) Current tenant subject to being drafted by iRV2 membership party.
RED BLOCK = Missing information!
GREEN BLOCK = iRV2 member site - (Site Registered)
No Color Shading = 2014 National Rally - (Site Available)

Refer to the Campground Map for a better perspective. See snip!
Note: All the BROWN shaded sites have concrete pads.

Thumbs up In Concert at the 2014 National Rally - The Holiday Band

"LIVE and In Concert"
at the
2014 iRV2.com National Rally
.
.
"Winner of the 2003 and 2009 CBMA GROUP OF THE YEAR"
.
Well folks, we've been doing this for 13 years now and the Rally Committee thought that it would be just about time to kick it up a few dozen levels and take it to the next tier in entertainment! We hope that you will enjoy this entertainment venue scheduled for Tuesday, September 16, 2014

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

The Holiday Band has been performing for nearly 21 years. Based in North Carolina the group has played dates in 11 states. Notable performances include The Lincoln Center in New York, The House Of Blues in Myrtle Beach, Mardi Gras in Mobile, Alabama, Carnival cruise on The Inspiration, Grove Park Inn in Asheville NC, and Carolina Inn in Pinehurst. The band has been voted group of the year as well as many other awards in Carolina beach music. THB plays many wedding receptions, street festivals, fraternity and sorority parties, night clubs, theatres, and corporate parties. The group is known for being one of the most versatile bands around with a wide range of musical styles on the set list.

Enjoy this exciting Preview which will only be a fraction of the fun and excitement that the band will provide for us at the National Rally at the Ocean Lakes Family Campground in beautiful Myrtle Beach.

National Rally Feature "Optional Event"

An evening of "Optional Family" entertainment and food is being offered to National Rally attendees on Wednesday evening at 6:00pm. Attendees should be ready to leave by 4:45PM to arrive, visit the Castle and be seated for the show. The Castle is approximately 15 to 20 minutes away from the campground.
.
You will have the opportunity to purchase this option when using the "Rally Ticketing" (to be revealed by 4/1/14 or sooner) software. Again, this is not a component of your rally fee but is an option and it must be selected when your are registering. We have secured a Special Group Rate so please don't go to the Medieval Times site and buy your tickets. Our entertainment committee is making a single purchase and payment for all the tickets.
.
.

.
The Medieval Times Castle is located in Fantasy Harbor off of route 501 at:
2904 Fantasy Way, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 29579

.
Surrender to an age of bravery and honor and witness epic battles of steel and steed during our ALL-NEW SHOW. From ringside seats, discover a feast of the eyes and appetite with more action, more fun & more excitement than ever before.
.
As you thrill to a rousing live jousting tournament, marvel at awe-inspiring horsemanship and falconry, Medieval Times serves a four-course meal fit for royalty. Hang on to your helmet. The show is about to begin.
.

.
The Knights will parade out for the audience prior to the show. This is when all the fun and adventure will begin. Each colored section of the arena is affiliated with a Knight. If you are sitting in a specific color, your champion is one of 6 Knights. Prepare to go Medieval .....

Hello everyone,
I have made the reservations at Medieval Times for Wed the 17th of Sept. The dinner/show starts at 6pm. The cost is all inclusive and will cover the tax and gratuity, for a total of $42.00 per person. You will enjoy a great meal, and super show, and most of all the friendship of your fellow RV MEMBERS. Let's sign up for this event when the payment software is loaded and have a BLAST my Knights and Ladies. See you in Myrtle Beach. Safe Travels
