Jeff & Shelly from TN will be there as well. We have registered and reserved a 30 amp site at the campground. RV travel is new to us, so we hope to learn much!

Registrations are going well.

I hope that many of you have seen the Rally notifications in the July iRV2 News. Did you know that if 20% of the folks that received The iRV2 News attended the rally, we would probably fill every campground within 50 miles of Elkhart.

Comon' folks, you know you want to go to the rally so let's get those registration in. We have approximately 30 days to go before the cut-off of registrations.

Looking forward to first Rally! Renting an RV and not towing a car? Is this a mistake not bring a vehicle? I've been told everything is in walking distance?

Thanks!

Welcome to iRV2 and your first rally. There should be plenty of people there with a vehicle so if you do need a ride somewhere I am sure you will not have a problem.

Having stayed at the campground recently it is not really close to shopping areas.
You will have to hook up with others in order to get around and go to the various tour locations

Rally Registrations

As DriVer said, Rally Registrations are going well. Thus far 80 members (headcount of 157) have signed up for this year's rally.

BUT don't stop now, there's still room for more!!!

Everything in the campground is within walking distance: activities, entertainment, seminars, meals..etc. As Beau stated, you'll need to hitch a ride with someone to get to the offsite activities scheduled: Der Dutchmen, RV/MH HoF. There will be enough people going to those you will easily be able to get a lift.

If you want to sight-see, more than likely it'd be ideal to rent a car since that's a matter of personal taste as to where people want to go.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?
