Sounds like a good place to rally. Hopefully, we will be able to attend.

Bev and I are pleased with the location as well. Visiting the RV/MH Hall of Fame was on our punch list so we are excited. We agree with DriVer that this likely will be a great rally. Bev says that if the arthritis in her right hand does not get a lot worse she will make cookies again. DriVer already has asked if I would again host some Coffee Hours and I said I would God willing.

Happy we finally received confirmation from the campground. I have stayed there a few times. I think it is better than the 4H campground. The sites are all grass sites if I recall. I'll be registering as soon as the campground starts taking reservations. Plan on our annual corn hole and ladder toss tourneys. Dave and Lori are the corn hole defending champs, and Tom and Deb are the ladder toss defending champs. Wed plan on another bingo night. Last years was a big success. So get ready to have some FUN. See you in Elkhart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Toured this place a few years ago when we were looking for a new location for our rally. They have a nice big hall and kitchen. Small pool, grassy sites seemed like a nice place. Opted to stay at Shipshewana, but may need to consider thus in the future if the rally I'm in charge of grows anymore. Kudos on site choice! Planning a trip to Albuquerque this year so not sure if I can make this, but will try.

WOW....

What a great area for the rally... Plenty to see and do in in the heart of RV country! Great Amish restaurants, the RV museum, the Shipshewana Flea Market, etc,

Looking forward to it!

Mike, that's a great place for a rally and you (and all others involved) are to be complimented for choosing the Elkhart area for the rally. Most everything RV related is in the area as well as Shipshewanna, which is one of our favorite places to visit.

As you know, the Workhorse Custom Chassis Club is having their rally over in Shipshewanna at the flea market campground. It's being held just prior to the IRV2 rally, which is great. Even though I used to own a WCC motorhome chassis and now own a Ford F53 chassis, we are still members of the WCC Club and look forward to attending both rallies.

I looked at Google Earth, but could not tell if the place next door is a RV dealership or manufacturer. Anyone have any idea or info?

On Google StreetView, it appears to be a dealer according to the sign out at the road.

Total Value RV is right next to the CG.

What's got me worried is they've got the new Thor Venetian line I'm interested in. I may end up going to the rally & leaving my Bounder behind.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?
