2017 Rally Announcement

The iRV2 Rally and Events Team is pleased to announce that a contract has been signed and that the 2017 iRV2 International Rally will be held at the wonderful Branson KOA & Convention Center beginning on Sunday, September 17, 2017 to Saturday, September 23, 2017.

Bookings for campsites may be accomplished by calling Ms. Angie Dickerson, Manager, "ONLY" at (417) 334-4414. If Ms. Angie is not immediately available, ask to be placed into her voice mail and she will call you back.

There are basically 2 types of sites; a standard "Deluxe" site and a Luxury site.
1. Deluxe Rally Site: $39.52 daily and 237.12 for 6 nights. (includes taxes)
2. Luxury Rally Site: $72.05 daily and 432.00 for 6 nights.
3. Fully equipped camping cabins are also available if you would like to fly in; Call Ms. Angie for complete details. (yes there is a rally rate)

About campground reservations:
1. Please identify yourself as an iRV2 rally attendee.
2. All campground reservation payments are to be made in full at the time you make your reservation.
3. In the event of a cancellation before the 6:00pm close of business on August 17, 2017, 1 day's deposit will be charged and withheld by the KOA.
4. In the event of a cancellation after the 6:00pm close of business on August 17, 2017, the campground reservation payment will be forfeit.

About cancellations; To cancel your reservation, please call Ms. Dickerson and then notify us (gMw) that you are cancelling via private message (PM) or eMail.

The rally fee has not been set as of today. The itinerary will be developed over the next few months and we expect to have that information available on or about April 1, 2017 or sooner.

The rally fee is in part comprised of your, meal plan, entertainment and optional events. The cancellation policy previously established will apply when it comes to the rally fee. Cancellations after August 17, 2017 (30 days out) will be forfeit as your rally supplies, meals and events will have been ordered and paid for.

The "Official" 2017 iRV2.com International Rally thread will be published as soon as we have the beginnings of an itinerary and it will include, information about meals, shows, vendors and seminars. We already have commitments from several of our 2016 vendors to attend the rally in Branson.

This thread at some point will be closed and locked as soon as the "Official" rally thread is developed and posted.

Here's a Continuous video preview ....... it'll just go from one video to the next - Hey, you can even give us a little feedback on which show you might like to see ... How about that Silver Dollar City ???

Great venue choice! Centrally located, members from east or west can easily get there, a place with so many things to see & do & a what appears to be a 10% discount on the sites as well.

Thank you!

I'm not sure how many total sites they have but we reserved 125 of them.

Thanks, based on the past rallies, when would you expect the 125 to get sold out?

I'm not sure why you are very specific with your questions however the cut-off date is August 17, 2017. We are enthusiastic that we will book out the majority of the sites by the cut-off date however we are not under pressure to sell out. Those members that book early are assured a site at the rally.

We hope to continue the tradition. It looks like the registration thread is going to be cranking up sooner than I thought !

According to campgroundreviews.com, they've got 220 sites. So even if/when our rally gets sold out, there's plenty of spaces left...plus cabins. I wouldn't worry about not having enough sites, if that's why you're asking, but if you want one of the ones with the fireplace & patio furniture...reserve early.

Just for fun Colleen tried to book a site online for the time that we are going to be there and it said that the park had no sites available. Ms. Dickerson probably added some type of data to her system that shows the park is fully booked for that time but as you suggested, I expect that we will have room for overflow but there's no guarantee that we'll be able to book more than 125 sites.

We're fortunate as well to have camping cabins. In the past we've had campers that flew in for various reasons and we welcomed them to attend our rally with open arms. When the folks left, I managed to get 2 folding chairs out of the deal because the couple didn't want to bring them back on the plane.

RVPR's needs updated. According to the KOA's website they have:
"...With 140 RV Sites, 27 lodging units..."

So still some overflow, just not overflow up to 220 RV sites!

Just spent the month of Sept in Branson and had a wonderful time(22 shows in all seen). We stayed just down the road a piece from the KOA at Ozark Country. This event sounds like Fun..will have to see if we can squeeze it into our next year plans. Thank You for all the planning that goes into these Rallies.
