It's been hot here in Branson. Upper 80's - 90 and far more humid than will be Pahrump.

Wonder who'll come the farthest? DriVer's got to be about 2400 miles away.

Temps this year (3rd week of Sept) were on the decline 90's to the 80's...which is normal. Evenings are dramatically cooler.
And for those interested, Las Vegas and Death Valley are each, about 1.5 hours away:
Hope to see you there

I thought it would have been hotter in Sept.....I've stayed at Nevada Treasure when it was about 115 in the shade in July. Oh, there electric works well!!! lol With temp's in the 80-90's, a side trip to Scotty's Castle would be in order.

High 80's low 90's, trips possible but, I live in the desert, hot is hot, just saying. I'd go anyway, fun is fun. But it could be hot

South of east of Burns, I've never seen these highways before, has anyone driven this route have any warnings about the conditions of these roads/distances between services?

2600 for me as well..... Could be fun, as we'd certainly make some stops along the way.
Have to see what the calendar looks like when it gets a little closer.

That'd be one heck of a shake-down trip, Bob.
