Aye, as I mentioned Truck Campers tend to get turned away at places with "Resort" in the name. Throw in a 44 year old camper on the back of a 26 year old pickup, possibly towing a 34 year old toad, and you've got alot of age all in one spot

I'll be there if our 16 yr old Monaco Dynasty is acceptable. We both clean up nicely....

Thank you for your offer of assistance. PM DriVer. He's the main wagonmaster for our Rallies.

I hope to make the 2018 Rally as it's only about 75 miles from my home in Vegas. Weather shouldn't be too bad maybe in the 90's or lower.

Good road in the middle of nowhere. Keep an eye on your fuel, it can be a long way between services. Don't trust old info on fuel stops; we found some of the towns are just about ghost towns now. Drive can be a bit boring once you hit the open desert, but it is beautiful.

Hope to see you in Puhrump

The parks age rules / rv rules will be the go/no go for us

I've been to the Resort several times in my '96 Vogue.....never an issue at all. I'll be making this Rally also if the above holds true.

I spoke with our rally coordinator today, after having played telephone tag a couple of times.

Super C RVs are allowed to enter and stay in the park during the course of our event. I described the rig and there were no negative comments. What the policy is in general however, I didn't ask.

I also made a point about asking about travel trailers and fifth wheels and those are also allowed. We previously spoke about truck campers and those are OK as well.

So far, we have not talked about pop-ups however I have not seen a popup at an iRV2 Rally in many years.

At this time, I do not see a problem with RV type.

Driver, did you happen to confirm any issues with age?

I really didn’t get into your age. .

If your rig looks presentable I don’t see a problem. Many of us are bringing antiques that have been well maintained.

If there’s any question, take the best picture you have and run it by the Resort. I previously wrote about air conditioners hanging out the windows, broken windshields and other appearance items that look trashy.

If you’re old but good looking like a redneckexpress should look, I expect you’ll be OK.

I'm pretty sure these would be unacceptable in most campgrounds...
