Sounds like wonderful off-site activities! I'm sure the attendees will be very pleased.

Yes, the worm has turned. Most every major venue has parking and where it was free, they are now charging. Some would allow a stamp, but most are charging X amount per number of hours, just to give a heads up for the folks attacking the one armed bandits. If we have a number of Marines in the group, there is a Marine bar not far off the strip that isn't too bad for a visit. They are trying to get a lot of Marine memorabilia up on there walls. The folks that run it are good folks.

A word to the wise...a quirk of Nevada treasure RV Resort is that many of the sewer connections and water connections for the sites are at the rear and beyond. I would carry enough water and sewer hose to reach from your dump valves and water hookup to a minimum of 6' (10' is better) beyond the back of the RV. Also the park does not have a dump station as all sited are FHU. No cable but OTA is good. Almost all sites have a clear shot to the southern sky. WIFI(free) is better that most parks which is not saying much. It is a great park with a friendly staff. (snowbirds at Nevada Treasure, end of November till first part of March)

We are working with Ms. Ashley Anderson. She has been very helpful in assisting us with bringing in the International Rally to NTRVR.

If anyone can assist us with "good" photography, we would appreciate it. The shots on the website are lo-res, often obscured with promotional type and sometimes are not as sharp as we would like them to be. Whether it's the resort itself, the surrounding geography, local businesses and of course Las Vegas that would be helpful.

Please send me your eMail address via PM and I will add you to a shared folder on Drop Box.

HDT and 5th wheel at this resort

Howdy All,

A couple of years ago a friend of mine was wintering at this resort with his 38 foot Class A, I stayed a couple of days in November. My truck and trailer is 68 feet long, the one I am now building will be 72 feet when coupled up, my trailer is 45 feet long. When I stayed there were MANY open sites so rather then back in and have to unhook the trailer they let me park sideways taking up about four empty sites.

However, at the time this rally will take place, will there be room for those of us who tow large RV trailers with a real truck? And does being a member of this forum qualify one to attend this rally or is there an official club of some sort? Thanks any information you can share that addresses these questions.

Dave

Dave, All registered members are invited to attend the International Rally. The are no dues and Forum Membership is free.
The International Rally Committee has chosen to allow the Resort management to assign sites directly to the attendees. If an attendee has a requirement for multiple sites due to their equipment requirements then that process needs to be worked out between the Resort and the attendee.
Thank you for the opportunity to respond to your concern.

This will be our first rally and we're looking forward to it! So just to be clear, we don't call the resort now and reserve our own spot but instead wait for registration to open here to get a spot you folks have already have secured...correct?

Thank you!

That's correct. Please wait for the open registration announcement. Look for it around April or May.

We're making a west coast trip this summer and going to the IRV2 rally at Nevada Treasure would be a nice way for us to have a good time before heading back home. Looking forward to registering.

Mike, I assume you are going to the FMCA convention at Perry, Ga in March?! I look forward to seeing you there. I'm on the parking team and will be there.

Bob
