Actually Pahrump tends to be cooler than Las Vegas because of the much higher altitude and daytime highs should be in the very low 90s.

Thanks.. I am a Marine Brat.. son of a Marine Brat.. (My mom spent her entire life “with an ID card in her pocket”, I shall also)..

I still have a ton of USMC memorabilia (two generations worth) that need a home.. I may contact the bar and offer some to them ..

Thanks.. hope the wedding was fun and that you helped your nephew “splice the main brace”

Here is a link to the oldest picture that we hav of my mom’s family.. pier at Quantico, February 1927.. Gramps leaving for Nicaragua

Hello! I just joined up here and saw this info. We're working on our skoolie now. Do you think skoolies will be allowed? Too bad we didn't get started sooner. We live 1.5 hours from Branson.☺

I would contact Nevada Treasure Resort (1 (800) 429-6665) or through their web site at WWW.NEVADATREASURERVRESORT.COM. The managers and staff are very friendly and helpful. In one visit I saw an Interstate Bus (think Greyhound) parked at the Resort. The owner had done a nice job on his conversion and it certainly did not seem out of place.

I think most people don't realize how far it is across Texas. Port Arthur (far east TX) to El Paso (far west Tx) is farther than El Paso to Los Angeles!

Regards.

Chuck

PS - Almost 2100 miles to Nevada Treasure for me.

815 miles from my door and my first rally, I'm sure going to try to be there.
