We have our reservations but I don't remember my site number right now. We are really looking forward to this. The Pirates Voyage is a great show. It took the place of The Dixie Stampede. There is so much to do in the Myrtle Beach area. And its pretty easy to get around. Ocean Lakes is a very good choice for our rally.

This looks like a great spot. Hopefully we can have a West Coast Rally some day where the RV park is near the Pacific Ocean.

We will be looking forward to hearing of your experiences after the International Rally.

Where would you suggest that we go? We just had a West Rally near Las Vegas that didn't move the attendance needle very much, but the attendees had a great time.

Close.. Our first rally was at Dollywood in 2006.. Don Fauntleroy was the Rallymaster. Nevada is the only one that we have missed.

I don't have a definite location in mind but Pahrump is about 300 miles from the West coast of the US. This next year refers to an East Coast rally? and is very near the Atlantic Ocean. I would hope that a future West Coast rally could be near the Pacific Ocean. Oregon could have some possible RV parks that could accommodate a large gathering, not so sure about CA though.

Hopefully we will hit 'em on either coast some day.

Please keep this discussion centered on the 2019 Rally. Suggestions for other, future locations, should be taken to a new thread.

Thank you!

Looks like a great time. Never been to that area RV'ing. Love Myrtle Beach though.

Never been to a rally either .

Any idea from previous attendees as to what might be a "good" sight? From the map there are spots close to the beach, some close to drive ways, some near buildings. Not real picky. At that time of year, heat should not be an issue.

Do the spots have room for toad? Any input appreciated.

One last question, what has been the approximate rally fee in the past?

Thanks

There's not a bad spot in the sections we're in. We were there when the last iRV2 Rally was held at OL. Yes there's room for your toad. You can see some pictures in my albums (link in my sig) - go to the iRV2 National Rally SC, 2014. There's also pictures in the thread from that rally HERE.

THIS THREAD give details on pricing/itinerary from the last time iRV2 was there.
