Thanks. Pics look great. The spot doesn't seem to matter. They all look beautiful.

Yes, I think so. We are currently looking at the Lance 1995. There are a couple of other choices too if we decide the Lance is not for us. SOL by Intech, and Outdoors RV (heavier and we'd have to upgrade the tow vehicle, and there really aren't any of them here on the East Coast)

The adventure of being an RVer, in my opinion, is also the shopping and figuring out what works. Have fun and good luck. [emoji106]

Does this event sell out?

We should certainly have our RV by next October. (we'll be in a world of hurt if we don't, plan on going full time.) But after hearing so many new rig horror stories I don't think I'm comfortable making a commitment until I see this thing actually go down the road a few times.

It looks like a large campground, does the event sell out?

150 sites have been reserved. If we sell out of those, we can get more [emoji106]. No worries [emoji4]

The rally sign up is not available yet. Look for it in April sometime. Patience.

How are the reservations coming long? We are coming back from the Canadian Maritimes this year and are not sure how early we might be for the rally -- will there be any "pre-rally" rates or suggestions for other places we can camp at?

If you look at the attendees thread, you'll see how many have reserved so far.

OL is HUGE so you would not have a problem getting a site there prior to the start of our rally. You may have to switch sites though, depending on occupancy.

Please call Ocean Lakes Reservations for the best information. There is a pre-rally and post rally discount.
Like Lori said, it's a huge place and it shouldn't be a problem. Now that said, we tried to get reservations for a specific time in April that coincides with school spring vacations and there was no room at the inn. As BIG as this campground is, it does sell out. It's therefore recommended that you make reservations soon and make them often.
