I talked to a lady at the Penn Fish and Boating Commision over the last 3 days. I wanted to be sure that you can fish from the Campground without a licence, as the campground owner has said. She did some research and called me back today. The owner is giving out incorrect info. They have no permit to allow anyone to fish without the proper licence, they may have at one time the proper permit to allow people to fish without a licence. But have let it lapse if they did have one. Her name was Brenda @ 1-717-7057938. She recomenders no one fish without a licence. Just wanted to know before, the fishing planned tourment. Vet Man

I would have called Brian the CG owner before calling the State of Pennsylvania. I guess that you guys are all "obligated" to buy licenses.

According to the campground owner, fishing is free and no license is required - it is private property.

Driver this was posted by RKamperRV after he talked to the OWNER. I have fished for many years in many states and had a hard time believing no licence was required. Would you rather had a bunch of us get arrested due to mis-info? Maybe the owner should have called the state, to clear things up. $33 for a week licence will keep me and most others from fishing anyway. Vet Man
