OK here's the picture:
Bolt length is 7/8" from the face of the washer and it appears there is a flange on it.
This is GREAT and I really appreciate it!!

"Snagless" bolt

Hi Deen,

Looks like 3/4" from the "raised hub" to the end of the existing bolt- that's the attachment point.

I'll include a small washer to extend the effective length to 7/8", if needed.

I'll deliver it to our friends "Lloydu" (I-20)- It's in the bag. I hope Lloydu won't be "overweight" hauling all these bolts around the US- .

Cheers,

LLoyd has friends all over the place!! In visiting with him we found that he was good friends with our dentist of 25 years (they went to college together). Then, at dinner one night we found that one of the women in the group of 8 was a former student of my mothers. Then, just yesterday I found that another of his friends from Hawaii was also a student of my mothers. My mother taught Home Ec in high school in Vancouver, WA

Small world!

My wife and I (and our clothes) THANK YOU!!

Deen

"Snagless" door bolt-?

billyb-

I'm not sure what your asking about-

"Pirate land" to me is Tampa FL?

If you need 2 of my bolts, and you want them sent to you, I need the length size (to the nearest 1/16"), and an address to send them to.

Just send me some info--- Just clear up what's going on

Cheers,

Max I have worked on my door, and I believe I may have cured the exterior door sticking but the screen door does not seem to operate correctly. I've tried everything I can think of. Do you think you could take a look at it for me while we are at the rally? If so Ill be at the registration table signing everyone up for games etc.

Thanks
Bob

Hey there Bob--

I'll look at your door, no problem.

We'll be helping Mike Pelchat setting up the hall at 1-2pm Sunday.

I'll be in H-27 starting on "game day"-

See ya then--

Door latch

Any chance of still getting one of the latches. Mine measure 3/4 from outside of washer to end of latch. I will be at rally on sun. Thanks

"Snagless" Door bolt

Hi Tom S-

I got one in the bag for you- I'll be making some up through Friday night- if needed. We have a short 3 hour to trip Myrtle Beach, arriving a day early on Saturday.

I'd like your site number please--

Cheers,

Max, I hope it's not too late but will understand if it is. Could use a 15/16 length at H23 and I can install myself. Thanks for the offer regardless, hope to meet you at the rally.

Hi Max;

This is Bob Riker, coastiescpo. Unfortunately, I am unable to attend the rally but thanks to your generous offer, I can get one of the strikers. My friend and neighbor, John Walker who is in I-14 at the rally will pick it up.

Here is the measurement: 15/16th inch!

It is really too bad that I could not attend, as Mike and crew put on a great rally!

Again, thanks Max!

Bob Riker--

Okay, no problem- I got ya covered. I'll give it to John in I-14.

If your an 'ole "Coastie" as your name implies, you needed to come to the coast- .

Come on down to the NCBC (Naval Construction Battilion Center- the Seabees) in Gullfport, MS for the winter with us, and a bunch of your old buddies. We have 12 Casino's within about a 15 mile radius- some, with great lunch buffet deals-

Oh, I'm sorry you can't make it to Myrtle Beach-

Cheers,

Striker Bolt

Hi Max -

Lloydu mentioned your very generous offer today.

If it's not too late, may I please have one 1-3/16" long? I won't be in Myrtle Beach, but if you could leave it with Lloydu (site I-20; see post 31 above), he would give it to me the following week.

Thank you!

EdHudson
