Come on down to the NCBC (Naval Construction Battilion Center- the Seabees) in Gullfport, MS for the winter with us, and a bunch of your old buddies. We have 12 Casino's within about a 15 mile radius- some, with great lunch buffet deals-

Oh, I'm sorry you can't make it to Myrtle Beach-

Cheers,
Thanks for the invite to Gulfport Max. No problem being around USCG buddies as well as Navy guys. The wife and I spent lots of time down in Key West, staying at NAS Key West Sigsbee CG, Which, by the way, is named after a Seabee. And speaking of coming to the coast, the reason that I cannot make it to MB and IRV2 is because the DW is presently out on the left coast waiting for the birth of our daughters second child. Los Angeles, that is!

Door bolts

Your all very welcome- It is my pleasure to make them for all you great folks-.

I was a busy boy today as I did many more installs than I had orders for. I brought along about 20 extras, and even then, I had to get into my "EWR" kit- (for you non-military folks that means- Emergency War Reserve- ).

Don Morgan even let me install one in his new Horizon DP and he even brought me a nice hunk of Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese-

If anyone else is reading this thread and needs one, don't be bashful- I'm in H-27-

Cheers from Myrtle Beach,

Max H

Max,
You are an incredible human being. It is seldom that we encounter such a generous and caring individual like you. You've probably helped hundreds of coach owners with the replacement of their clothes grabbing, skin ripping, ill-designed factory door bolt with your own unique design.
[Folks, this man not only took orders from any interested attendees of our National rally but he came prepared with dozens of spares to help those who didn't hear about his generous offer. He refused any monetary offers of payment.]
It has been a pleasure getting to know such a giving, fellow Air Force retiree like yourself. Thanks for helping me, my many friends and the hundreds, perhaps thousands of RVers who are enjoying your special gift.
Warm regards,
Lloyd

Thanks Max. I hope that we were your beta testers and that you are going into business with that bolt. It works great. Just the day before my wife snagged her arm on the old bolt that caused a long abrasion. No more snags. I also noticed that the metal you used seems to eliminate the squeeks and rattles I had. Thank you again. P.S. I kept the old one in the event I trade this MH in I can take the bolt and use it on the new one.
