Yes Jim, Wed. seem to be the best chance given the scheduled of events. I plan on making early times once we get a good head count and it gets closer. I plan on calling a few places this week and see about what they have to offer. I will keep everyone posted.

Anymore golfers out there wanting to sign up? Please post it here or you can email me @ papasteve1953@aol.com Same goes for any ideas or suggestions about playing.

GOLF....Eagles Landing Golf Club
Sevierville, TN
Wed. July 19th 2006

Tee Times beginning @ 7:30am if I can get those times. This should give us plenty of time to finish and rest or whatever before the Dixie Stampede , when we meet the bus @ 4PM.

Eagles Landing Golf Club---www.seviervilletn.org

I talked with J.R. this afternoon and the rates are $41 with cart. They have a full service cafe for lunch or breakfast or either. They have soft drinks/beer/snacks etc. also.

The course has 5 sets of tees for all levels and skills, so this should make it nice for everyone at any level. Its within 5 miles of the RV park . Is everyone ok with these times and price. I can secure the times a month out with my credit card ( that should be June 19th).

To date we have 6 players signed up.

Steve....Lenny....Jim...Frankie...Hamie....Bobby

Let me know if you wish to sign up and I will get you on the list. I will be making the times as stated above (June 19th). Feel free to email @papasteve1953@aol.com

Sounds awsome!! Last year was a lot of laughs, aside from a few serious golfers who didnt appreciate NE etiquette.I will proudly hand off the Award. Last year we started at around 10 am and were done around 4 pm. 7-7:30 am T-time is perfect

OK.... Looks like Frankie has one prize, Maybe the course will donate something. Give me their address and I will send them an offical request and see what they say. If anyone knows someplace that might donate, send me a e mail with the address and I will send a request.

Jim.

The only address I see for the golf course is Old Knoxville Highway, Sevierville Tn (phone 865-429-4223).

Speaking of prizes I plan on donating a few things personally for the event. dozen balls, tees, and a few other gadgets I can think of. I was going to put the names in the hat and draw them after the round for door prizes. I have done this for smaller groups before I golf with and its always fun.

Sounds good, Your in charge . Did you tell them who we are when you made the reservations? Let me know if you need a copy of the letter I send out. Thanks for leading this.

Jim..
I think I talked to the person in the pro shop. I am unable to make tee times until 30 days prior to the 19th of July. Once we get some more sign-ups I plan on calling them again and see if they will work with us on a few bucks discount for the round. But you can send them a letter if you wish, it sure will not hurt. I will be in contact with them again as time nears. Thanks.

Steve,

Add one more to your list!

My brother-in law "Marty" is coming to the rally with Sylvia and I and he'd like to knock a few balls around with you guys. I'll let him know he's in.
