GrandOleOpry

Hello all, your Entertainment Chairperson here.
I've been working on our entertainment for the rally. We are planning on a GrandOleOpry night out. The event will be a night of music at the GrandOleOpry show on Tuesday night. The cost is $60.00 per person. The issue I'm running into is that the tickets are generally sold on a first come first serve basis, unless we want to block some tickets. If we block, we need to place a 20% down payment. So I am asking if you plan on attending the rally, or you have already indicated that you are attending and have reserved your site, please give me an idea that you plan to attend the GrandOleOpry show. This will give me an idea of how many tickets we should block and the down payment required. Your assistance in thos matter is greatly appreciated.
See you soon.

Bob

If the $60 cost is not discounted, those interested in going may want to book individually. I noticed that large blocks of the $60 seats are already blocked out for the date. Personally, we like to pick our seats (so to speak) while they are still available.

Bob,

We looked at the on-line seating chart again and two seats in Section 4, Row A were just calling our name. So, we'll be there but probably not sitting with the group.

We haven't been in Nashville for several years. Back then, the Opryland Hotel seemed to be on the outskirts. Now it looks like there's an outlet mall and a number of restaurants right next to the hotel and auditorium. I see a good part of our day and evening being spent around there. Shop, eat, be entertained. Sounds like a plan.

After, considerable consideration and recommendations from members, we have decided that each member wishing to attend the GrandOleOpry should make their own reservations. The only show scheduled for our time frame is Tuesday night the 29th of Sept. This will allow those wishing to attend to purchase tickets for seat they want at a price you want. We may not ll be seated together but we anticipate that there will be many of us attending. Hope to see you there.

FYI,
Made our reservations for the Opry last night. Those interested on going I recommend that you go to the official Opry site to order your tickets. You can select your seats. I would do it quickly.

I'll try not to step on your feet as we slide down a couple of chairs past you.
