AL, Ya gotta love it when a plan comes together. I'm trying to get through to the CG. They did not pickup the phone yesterday. There are thousands w/o power on the east coast of Virginia however I would expect that they will recover shortly beacause the weather has been pretty good.

As of right now the phone is busy but that could be other people trying to call in as well. I hope to find out today. I did speak with the bus company in Gloucester,VA and they were back at work yesterday.

There are currently conversations on Facebook about Bethpage:

facebook: Bethpage

They are gearing up for their last BIG Holiday Weekend; Labor Day. Apparently the phones are still OFF at this moment but they are cleaning up the campground. One post states that the water was turned back ON. When I call there the phones return a busy signal. Yesterday they were just endlessly ringing off the wall. So - we it went from no answer to busy! Yaaay...!

Like Mick would say; "No worries!" Continue on in to Bethpage for the 25th of September or whenever you are getting here. The campground will be ready and so will we!

8/29 Brent Crebs; Good morning everyone. No power yet but local residents are being told 5-11pm today. Cleanup continues as we prepare for our busy weekend. Phones still off so stay tuned for updates later today!

"Six hours ago:"
Larry Back Hi Brent, thanks for the update on the power. We came up on Sunday and saw workers cleaning up, they had done a lot of work in a short period of time. We were all very fortunate with the exception of a few trees that had fallen. Considering the storm we were very fortunate. We look forward to seeing everyone this weekend. Stay safe!

If you are wanting to come to the rally and can't book your campsite reservation today .... please go ahead and take care of the rally fees and we'll get you booked as soon as we get an agent to answer the phone.

Two more breezy low pressure areas crossing the Atlantic right now. Hope they make the U turn early and head back east.

We stayed at Beth Page this past weekend and everything is up, running, and hardley a sign there was a storm.
