We're on our way, rain or no rain! Left this morning, stopped for the night at a relatives place in Dandridge, Tn. Tomorrow, it's off to somewhere wst of Richmond and then on to Beth Page on Friday. Lots of the wet stuff in the forecast, but they say it will be nice on Monday. Let's rally! Mike, what ever you need, we are available.

Folks, we arrived here in Bethpage this afternoon. DW kept telling me we were not supposed to arrive until tomorrow and, dang, she was right . The folks at Bethpage could not have been nicer and told me they were able to put us on our 'rally' site anyway.

I did notice that I was on a different street than originally indicated but we still have site #H14. The local forecast is for about 80% chance of rain tomorrow but declining POP over the next few days.

This place is beautiful and HUGE!

Gary;

Thanks for the report. We are in a campground near Champaign, IL We hit some rough roads in a construction area and I broke 2 cookies which I promptly ate to destroy the evidence. Now the count is down to 118. I put the container on the bed so as to protect the rest. I am glad you are there to help DriVer unload his Adventure because I fear it is overloaded for the W22 the way he described his loading technique.

We are holding over in Roanoke Rapids, NC at the Carolina Crossroads RV Resort.

All is well and the machine is running great. This ol' girl at 93,400+ miles is fully loaded and continues to provide me with miles of smiles.

Our ETA into Bethpage is 12:00 pm Friday or sooner. Dale Sumner is camping a few sites away and we had the chance to chew the fat a bit.

This is the best $25.00 a night campground I have ever stayed at.

We are at the KOA just south of Charlottesville,Va. There is no Verizon coverage, the trees block my dish from picking up Directv but we have cable and local TV. The park is quiet and nice enough ($37.00). Close enough to the office to get their WIFI because my MIFI 2200 is a no go. We expect to get to Beth Page around noon to help Mike unload his traveling store room.

We sail on the (Saturday) morning tide.. for our three hour tour.. see all Saturday..

Al.. don't miss Klines Ice Cream on RT-28 in Manassas Park, next to Restless Wheels RV.. last of the old ice cream/burger stands..

Also (we know these roads, we are 10 miles form Bull Run).. avoif I-95 and US- 17 (US-1 to US-301) South.. bad BAD road for RVs.. our route to Bethpage is

I-66 West to
US-29 South to
US-17 South to
VA-3 South to
US-301 South to
US-17 South

All good road, same amount of time as the shorter GPoS routing.

Here is a partial Google routing..
US-17 S/Marsh Rd to Lake St - Google Maps

Right back at you, Al! We're at Beth Page, it's raining, but this a beautiful place. The rally center is outstanding. The sites are grass but good and pretty free of water considering all the rain. We're going to have a good time.

For those coming in, watch for the campground signs...there are several of them along the way and they will bring you in just fine.

Hey Mike, not only did we bring our cargo hooks, we brought our block and tackle and some Tylenol!

Greensboro (NC) CG overniting and will arrive around noon Saturday. Ran into another rig from Atlanta heading to the Rally.
Ya know, when you run a freshwater tank over, it can make a wet mess.
