Jack and Karen,
I was really looking forward to seeing you both again. I'm sorry you were unable to make the rally. I was hoping to hear the "chicken" story again. But I do understand the family obligations and needs. Hope to see you in the future.

I am looking at the Penn Fishing & Game web site that was offered here. I read it that it is only on ponds that are on private property, is there a pond or river. The campground owner may not be correct. Many times they do not know the regulations. Avid fisherman? I plan to get fish at the Shady Maple. Vet Man

Brian or his family have owned this place for years. I can only go by what he tells me.

I called the Fish and Game, they said he would have had to purchase a special licence to allow non-residence people to fish without a licence. I guess I will leave my fishing rod in the MH, unless he has this permit. He should have it available for all to see if he has one. Not worth getting arrested for a lttle fishing. Vet Man

Her is the quote from the PA. fish and game web site.

"20. Do I need a license to fish on my own land?
The law provides that no person 16 years of age or older shall fish in any of the waters of Pennsylvania or in any boundary waters without first procuring a license. However, there is an exemption in the law. The exemption allows landowners who reside on their land throughout the year and members of their families residing thereon to fish on their land in waters wholly within said land (i.e., private ponds) without a license. This exemption does not apply to any person temporarily residing upon the land or any tenant who is not a member of the family of the owner. The exemption also does not apply to any servant or employee of the owner. "

We're here and preparations are going smoothly. WiFi is working, but at limited locations. Working on expanding the range right now. Time to "git 'er done!"

Is there a specified check in time for Sunday or are the sites ready for occupancy prior to noon? We're in Gettysburg so it shouldn't take us long to get there. Looking forward to seeing everyone and enjoying this cool weather.

George R, George, Rick's dad just came over and he handed me our National Rally Sign. It's really nice! It has the 2005 Rally Logo PA Dutch Hex design on it, our name and city on it. It's mounted on a 2 spoke wire rack that pushes into the ground.

What a "great" idea! No doubt this is going to be a legacy from this rally and for future rallies. By the way Rick says you can follow the iRV2 National Rally signs on the way into the campground off of Ronks Road.

We just heard from MikeT, he's challenged to get on the road right now but he said that he may be here before the end of the day.

Captain Bud (in case ya wanna know) Blew up his computer and he's been off-line for the past couple of days. Apparently Dell is dispatching someone to his home "after" the rally to swap out the motherboard and modem. So IF Bud's been quiet for the past couple of days, now you know!

PS: FREE Coffee and Donuts on site 32 for the first 120 people that show up on "Wednesday" morning before the Lancaster Farm Tour. C&Ds will be from 7:00 to 9:00am. Be there or be donutless.

Brought to you by your local friendly neighborhood Workhorse Custom Chassis man.

Sounds like things are going well. Can't wait to pull out tomorrow. See you in the afternoon
