We are leaving Eastern NC Saturday morning for the rally. We should be there by supper time. We are looking foward to a very good week. This is our second rally. Nashville was the frist.
See you all tomorrow.

Check in time is officially 3:00 PM. You can come earlier but there is no guarantee your site will be available. C'mon down!

Almost everyone is here, in place, and satisfied with all accomodations so far. One more person has yet to arrive (Mike Pirosh) and he unfortunately broke down in TN. We will miss The Signman as he is unable to make it at the last minute.

The ice cream social was great! Golf, dinner and a comedian tomorrow. More to come later!

We're all tucked in, I'm trying out my new wifi and we are just back from a great fire with about 20 people. We are enjoying the grounds, and while our site isn't the biggest we've ever been on, we fit comfortably, and have sewer and nice strong electricity. We spent the evening at the ice cream social and then wandered the grounds visiting and checking out other sites. Looks like a great turn out and I'm looking forward to lots of fun this week.

Hi All,
I'm sitting here creekside, on the laptop using the wifi, life is great. Having a great time visiting with old and new friends. It's nice to have people from all over the country here. Played golf on Monday, went to Philly yesterday and now we are just relaxing. Campfires every night. The weather is delightful, around 80 and partly cloudy. Cool at night for good sleeping. Wish you all were here.

I also thought I had to jump in here. Sitting at the picnic table checking email and reading iRV2 is so cool The weather at the rally has been super so far. Mid 80's and not a drop of rain yet. The forecast has called for a front to come in, but so we've been dodging everything

So far, we've hung out, relaxed, kicked back, relaxed, sat around the fire and relaxed, and ate way too much, after which of course, we relaxed again. Between all that, we've also done the Philly tour (yes it was a ton of walking, but very educational) and just came back from the Lancaster tour a short while ago. Very interesting tour which included actually being invited into a Amish families home to learn about their values and way of life. Couldn't have had a better hostess than the Amish couple. The wife with her homemade cookies and ice tea for everyone really made everyone feel at home.

It's been great meeting more of the folks from iRV2 as well. Ive had a great time putting names and faces to the screen names of those we see on the board often.

Wish you all were here with us
