Rally road constuction updates

Anyone that gets to the area of the Rally early let the rest of us know about bottle-necks, and road construction. Like for me coming from Wisconsin to the rally, Petro and I would like to know where the problems( if any ) are and maybe we could change our route. Even though we have excellent navigators in Kate and Bev all helpful hints are appreciated. Jim

I'm enroute there now with a stop at the Fleetwood factory in Decatur In. for new windshields then I think it's using I 65 south for part of the trip I have not really checked it out yet.

I'm in Bay City Mi. Right now, a tad bit out of your way.

TDOT Smartmap

Looks like there's a bunch of construction pending along I-40 btn mm 225 - 232 each day, all of wilson county and then btn mm 235 - 241 and at mm 273 - 287 and mm 311-318 at night.

Watch for HORRIBLE traffic around Nashville; if you're coming from the north, take Briley Parkway to avoid as much as you can.

Hope this helps! Looking forward to seeing you there.
