Tracy and I love to go antiquing so we thought cool let's see if a few couples would like to join us. We have 5 shops and malls to take a look at down Route 17 to Gloucester...Stagecoach Market, Market Place Antiques ( 22,000 sq. ft.) Holly Hill Antiques, Wisteria Lane , and Briarpatch Antiques which on Thursday is by appointment, so if we have a group they might open...Now for the guys...Lunch at a real cool place called " Wild Rabbit Cafe" Wild Rabbit Cafe, Gloucester - Restaurant Reviews - TripAdvisor

We can take 2 couple in our Ford Flex, 3 rows of sets. Let us know if your interested via the thread or a PM...We can't wait to go to our first Rally...Seeya...Dickson

Dickson, I think it's absolutely wonderful that you would take the time to put this event together.

I'm sure that this will be a popular event for some of the attendees.

Thank you!

On the subject of antiquing, we live in Smithfield and the next town over is Selma. If you are in the area off I95 around exit 95-97 and love to go antiquing, I think you will like this town. Prices seem reasonable and we have bought some items that we didn't see anywhere else. It's a place to stretch your legs anyway.

Hi All,

Hey henryn,

I stopped at RVactions(I-95 Exit 98) twice last year and plan on stoping there again after the National Rally! I need to go back to Hinnant Family Vineyards, and pick up some more good wine,LOL!!! I don't drink & drive, but I do enjoy a nice glass of wine when I stop for the night! What more can someone ask for then Good Wine, Good Food, Good Times, and of course Good Friends!!

Remember All: LIVE, LAUGH & ENJOY !!!!!

I agree 100%. Alittle out of the way, but another winery is Duplin. It is on I40 east, exit 380. nice stop if you are going to the coast. we usually buy a case of different wines and give them as gifts during the Christmas season. I don't really drink alcohol. never acquired a taste for it. a bottle of wine will last us the better part of a year. good travels to you.

We were there last year. It is well worth the trip. Much to see and enjoy. We're doing Charleston and Savannah in July. Can't plan anything before because the coach needs to go in for replacement of kitchen and bathroom counter. seems on this 2011 the glue holding the edging laminate is coming off. been reglued x 2. enjoy the trip and safe travel.

The Mariners Museum sounds good to me and Willa. Count us in on that .... We can provide our own ride over there if necessary. We have a 2004 Ford Ranger pick up.

Some years ago, when I was on active duty with the Coast Guard and attending training at Yorktown, VA, we visited the Mariners Museum. As I recall, it was a very interesting place and well worth the trip to Newport News.
