It may sound weird, but Calico ghost town outside of Barstow would be a good place, but only in the spring or fall months. There's some campgrounds nearby.

OR Quartzite in Jan 2016 maybe the week before the BIG SHOW. Free camping in the desert....well almost free! All those snow birds to tell about IRV2.com

We have found that several ingredients make for excellent rallies. Location-location being a #1 consideration, we have seen that iRV2 rally attendees want 5 way hookups and lots of stuff to do. We are developing those opportunities as they present themselves.

Being "International" excludes the need to put a geographic dotted line someplace in the country and we would hope to move the location around as much as possible.

Now what?
I don't remember Texas as being part of the Great Plains. But at my age the memory cells are starting to show their loss.

Vegas could put a lot of rigs in the park if it was planned well. It would be most likely expensive but think of the upside!

Quartzsite would be another consideration since we would NOT have to get people, they would already be there.

A geographically based "west" International Rally may occur no earlier than 2017. I expect that before that time, we'll develop a plan and location that is well suited for our International Rally attendees. A vote at this point may be premature. There are not many of us that will plan their vacation 2 years ahead of schedule however it may take our rally team a year to plan ahead and execute that plan. Currently we are focused on 2016 and we're working on getting that behind us.

I do want to keep talking up a west based rally up as it is an important factor to geographically center the event within the greatest demographic if at all possible.

Quartzsite would be another consideration.

Are you all right?
When I go to a Rally I want full hookups and 50amp service. No dam desert!!

The only sand I want to see is maybe on a beach, which I can stick my toes in and recline in my chair and drink a fine whiskey!

Never worry. We won't have our rally where there aren't any FHU sites. Our demographics demand that.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

I would love to see something planned for Washington or Oregon... Unfortunately with my work schedule it is almost impossible for me to take enough time off to attend anything in the Eastern part of the country... Although I would like to see that part of the country.
I think the Eugene Oregon or Bend Oregon areas would be great. Also 7 Feathers in Canyonville is a great choice if they have the room for everyone.

Driver,
I think that you do a fantastic job with the rallies, I know that you will never please everyone, but you and your rally staff do a good job of pleasing as many as possible.

GEEZ...That's a heck of thing to post, and I certainly hope it's not true.

As you know planning for the 2016 iRV2 IR in Elkhart is well under way. Hope your travels include attending the rally.

Safe Travels...
