Would a rally in the vicinity of Eugene, OR work for a lot of folks?
Let's talk that up. Perhaps I can run another poll for 2017?

Eugene would work for us if we have enough time to plan for it. Fall would be great!

Anywhere west of the Rockies would work. We are new RV'ers and need to meet folks and get practical advice.

DriVer - You had mentioned splitting the country at Dallas and North. Having lived all over this great country, I have always considered anything west of the Rockies as west. The area between the eastern slope of the Rockies and the Mississippi as being Mid-West, and everything east of the Mississippi as being "back east". My wife just corrected me. She considers "back east as being the east coast. Consequently we have just defined 4 geographic ares of the country.
Using my terminology, we're in for a west or mid-west rally.

Well GreyGhost, you get partial credit. If you have ever seen a plastic relief map of the USA, east of the Rockies lies the flat "Great Plains".
Now what?

Let's not get into the symantics of what is "western". I'm sure our rally planning committee will come up with something to fit the need.
Thanks,
Lori-

Well, we are on the western slope of the Rockies in Colorado so we are certainly in the West!! would be interested in a western rally and would like to see it move around the west from year to year.

"Great Plains" was an apparently failed attempt of humor!
Sorry it went flew over the head.

If you do hold a Rally in the West, hold it somewhere nice, like Barstow.
